Fraud also affects official trademark authorities and the EUIPO (European Trademark Office) informs us that bogus representatives have registered as representatives of EU trademark owners, in place of legitimate representatives.
These changes have not been requested by the owners of the brands concerned, nor have they been made a priori by existing representatives. It also appears that the names of fictional characters are being used!
We invite you to exercise the utmost vigilance and to immediately carry out a corrective registration should you fall victim to an undue deletion.
