On June 1st, the public hearing for the swearing-in of the legally qualified and technically qualified judges of the First Instance Court of the Unified Patent Court took place, preceded by a speech by the French Minister of Justice.
The event was held on the premises of the 1st Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal and brought together a large part of the profession to welcome the judges to their new positions.
We congratulate Frédéric Gaillarde in particular on his appointment and were on hand to celebrate the launch of the JUB and the unitary patent.
