Anne Lévy represented our firm at the Executive Committee of FICPI, the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys, which was held from 17 to 20 March in Goa, India.
Several topics were discussed, relating to the rights of applicants and the attorneys who represent them, and the management of our firms, and the resolutions will be presented by each national group to its Intellectual Property Office. FICPI is influential and heard by both the Offices and other professional associations.
New: a resolution encouraging IP Offices to amend the law to take greater account of diversity, in particular by adding a reference to women.
In her role as Chair of the Practice Management Committee (PMC), Anne also attended the Bureau Meeting and the resolutions drafting meeting.
It was a great opportunity to work on the fascinating subjects of Business Intelligence, Practice Profitability and Cost Management, the future of the profession, in such a magical setting!
